It's grim up north

Hindsight sorts everything out🙄
No one in their right minds would purposely kill innocent civilians
Conveniently some on here forget that democracy in every country comes from guns / bombs
Free state partial republic was founded with tbe gun/ grenade

Ppl of the 6 counties didn’t ask to be partitioned

I think that the query here is with regard to Walsh, what was his contribution?

And from my own perspective I’m talking by about the IRA post Good Friday agreement
What were their main achievements?

I don’t expect an answer but I’d appreciate one :+1:

The true heroism is in killing 29 civilians when you only mean to blow the bloody doors off a car.

Some lovely group photographs in reserved back rooms in now closed down pubs.

Yes, you’re being really sincere…not at all passive-aggressive, or sanctimonious

The revolution will not be televised, but it will be Instagrammed and on Facebook groups with 87 followers.

Sums up a lot of the breakaway groups

So, tell me this, if there’s a border poll which votes to remain part of the UK, is that acceptable to you ?

Maintaining the ceasefire pretty much? It is a remarkable achievement I think.

I meant the ones who kept up the ‘fight’

REAL IRA or Continuity is what I’ve heard them referred to as, the ones who put the bomb in Omagh

A member of the 32 CSM, a telling insight into the fella.

We’re now at the point where we have people trying to deify that generation because halfwits like @Corksfinedtboy managed to get through the conflict and need to justify themselves to their maker.

Nasty stuff. Carkie is on his own journey , keep your beak out of it .

We?

You’re American you wankstain.

The only reason we have a rebublic is because of people like @Corksfinedtboy and his family.

People may not agree with him but he has principles that he is willing to die for… you on the other hand have repeatedly shown that you stand for nothing and no one except greed .

Bunch of lads here ‘proud to be Irish’ when it suits them, and spend the rest of the time demeaning the lads who prevented them from having British passports. A lot of this attitude, especially in the midlands since the 1960’s is just inherited yellowbellyism from their parents, and grandparents.

This conversation today was about the IRA continuity gang post GFA,

Some lads trying to muddy the water but that’s what it is :man_shrugging:

Pin your colours to the mast if you want but play fair :+1:
