From my recollection he was one of the only dissenting voices in the media during the covid crisis hitherto. He asked reasonable questions about cancer screenings, economic impacts etc. I dont really care if he is a cunt or supports Man City/Leinster, or got the boat to Wales to escape his creditors and is getting a nice cosy pension. It is immaterial really. But he doesnât take the populist standpoint and challenges consensus. He picks through the bullshit too and doesnât let people off the hook too easily. In this country we are spoon fed propaganda by RTE and in the absence of any critical thought itâs nice to be able to hear other views occasionally.
