January Transfer Window 2011

Pazzini to Inter.

Highly rated Croatian Ivan Rakitic is joining Sevilla from schalkeā€¦Birmingham have signed Obafemi Martins on loan from Wolfsburgā€¦

Leeds and Leicester are fighting it out to sign Michael Johnson on loanā€¦Actually could someone find me the odds on Leicester to be promoted this season, haven;t got access at the moment

Sid Lowe now confirming that Torres is pushing for move to Chelsea. Chelsea expected to launch an improved bid over the weekend.

On the subject of Chelsea, talks have broke down with Luiz.

He is actually with the Russian side Ruban Kazan not Wolfsburg

thanks for that RTTā€¦you truly are the king of transfer gossipā€¦

Reports that Liverpool have sealed the Suarez deal, subject to a medical, around ā‚¬26m is the fee

Heard the same. That seems like a lot for him doesnt it?

The reason they may have been so desperate might be to soften the blow that will come over the next few days?

ā‚¬26m for the second best player in the world?
Itā€™s a good enough deal.

Bean was very adamant earlier in the week that heā€™s being bought to partner Tores though Rintintin, this will come as quite the blow to him if true.

Yes, 2nd best. Torres is better.

(Iā€™ve decided to rekindle my boyhood support for Liverpool)

i think it was 23 millionā€¦ and if darren bent is worth 18 million then its definitely worth it ā€¦ because, well, suarez is 3 years younger and a much better player. (he looked class at the wc)

West Brom have signed Carlos Vela on loan from Arsenal

Liverpool confirm that Fernando Torres has asked to leave the club but they say he remains not for sale.

Portugese international keeper Ricardo is also on his way to Leicester

Disappointing but if he wants to go they should just take the cash and move on. Iā€™d presume theyā€™re just holding out for a bigger offer at this stage

juarez gone to the pigs from brescia on loan with a view to a 6 million move

cheivo verona have signed both pulzetti from bari & faroni from lummezzane

Always had a soft spot for the flying donkeys, them and Foggia back in the day.

How would you read the Suarez deal in light of this news? Would they have made that deal knowing Torres was on the way out to balance it? Or would that deal have been finalised quickly so FSG could show a frustrated Torres they mean business? Either way itā€™ll be sad to see him go if thatā€™s how it turns out. Not that surprising either though.
