Robbie looks like he is on his way to West Ham if reports are to be believed
I heard the deal described somewhere earlier in the week, same wages, and he can return to Spurs if West Ham are relegated. Seems to be a no lose situation there, but youâd imagine Spurs are wondering what theyâll have to do to see the back of him.
Being said that Liverpool have told Chelsea theyâll sell Torres for ÂŁ60m plus Anelka, Sturridge and Bruma. Thats as plain a âplease fuck offâ as youâre ever likely to hear.
Newcastle have turned down a 23M bid from Spurs for Andy Carroll.
Spurs must have some money. Carroll would make them an even bigger threat to the title, but more likely next year.
Andy would lose the run of himself in London though.
I hope 'Pool hold onto Torres, they could be great to watch for rest of the season with Suarez, himself and Kenny in charge promising to go back to old values. And if they dp fly up the league and play attractive football and add a bit kore strength then Torres might stay during the summer too.
Smart move from Given, thats a a good way to approach it. Keeping everyone happy and getting games.
I see David Healy is joining the most succesful club in Glasgow
Iâd love to see Liverpool hold on to Torres. People going on about using money to rebuild. It doesnât work that way on football business. Excess cash doesnât sit in a pot for dipping into, it gets invested in other areas of the business. Look at United selling Ronaldo - how much of that have they reinvested? Fuck all.
But by the sounds of things Torres wants out. Reports that he was âverbally intimidatedâ by other Liverpool players doing the rounds. If he just held on to the end of the season, it would be great. Get a chance for him and Suarez to get going. If he still wants out then, fair enough and best of luck to him. He has been sensational for Liverpool.
His armband proved he was a red, saurez saurez
Youâll never walk alone it said saurez saurez
He bought it from a lad from Spain, tall blonde hairâŠforgotten his name
Luis saurez liverpoolâs number 9
Villa have apparently just signed Michael Bradley on loan(with an option to buy) from Borussia Mönchengladbach can you give me the lowdown on him Rocko?

Aurelio & Lucas are a proper pair of cunts alright
One of their better players but nothing special. Has plenty of USA games under his belt though and is important enough for them⊠They brought in a guy called Fink as Bradley was destined to be going somewhere.
Ya, but going by their position they didnât need to did they? Their other star(Rooney) is a bag of shite this year and it says it all about the drop in standard of EPL that this United team are comfortably top.
Champions League?
What about it?
If they want to win that then they need to improve their squad.
Maybe you are right, but what is your point? I was talking about the EPL.
You are comparing United and Liverpool now, and at this point in time they are not comparable, and neither is Torres and Ronaldo.
My source is Liverpool (someone who actually works for the club) says there is a huge amount of lies being spread, and he expects Torres to stay, as its going to take something extraordinarily massive for Liverpool to sell him.
not surprised that torres isnt been linked to a move to italy or back to spain
i watched him for the first time in the world cup & he was abysmal
Hang on. Iâm not really sure where you are going with this. My point was that getting a pile of cash on a player doesnât always equate to cash for spending on other players. I cited Man Utd as an example of where this happened. You say that they havenât neded to spend to do well in the EPL, which is true, but I pointed out that money is needed to make them a proper challenging Champions League team.
Anyway, I hope they are all lies and your source is right. The written transfer request isnât good obviously but, as I said, if we can get him to stay to the end of the season then Iâd take that now.
He did put in a transfer request though, that ainât lies.
Anyway, my point is you canât compare United and 'Pool. United HAD to take that money, the banks were watching that.
I donât think Liverpool absolutely have to sell Torres.
Bursasporâs big January signing Kenneth Miller has just scored against Galatasaray.
ÂŁ50 million + Anelka for Torres is what Liverpool want apparently. Iâd take that
