Iâm guessing Farmer thinks this is a World Cup reference.
Hmmm⌠I just donât really agree. Torres has the best goals per minute ratio in the EPL. Carroll has potential but not like a Rooney or someone who was prolific underage. Thereâs plenty to suggest he might just be a flash in the pan. And heâs very much overpriced, which I know youâre not concerned with but I donât think he makes up the difference between Suarez and Torres.
His ratio is class and heâs class. But his ratio is less impressive away from home, his attitude recently hasnât been exemplary and he spends a reasonable amount of time injured (with Ngog as the backup). Think itâs a decent gamble. 35m is silly but there you go.
Huge problems. I donât have an issue with them not spreading the cash around though, I just didnât expect them to blow most of it on a man who is legally prohibited from living alone and who injured himself drinking jagerbombs. Itâs been a strange day all round.
Canât think of anyone in England Clarkey but the likes of MâVila from Rennes at 20 years of age, already capped by France, or Matuidi from St Etienne at 23 also capped by France would be preferable to a player released by Rangers for 500k imo.

Pretty retarded stuff being said alright. Some of the forums make this place look high brow. [/quote]
What are you implying about this forum?
What I want to know is what happened to all these young players I put my trust in and developed into global stars in football manager over the years? What are todayâs coaches getting wrong that I got so, so right?
