Dzeko has been linked with Dortmund if it does happen, with Man City part paying his wages but it’s not in Dortmund’s interests to do anything in January.

Patience is what is needed. Liverpool will be in far better shape come next September with two more Transfer windows under their belts than they were in Spetember 2012. A lot of dross needs to be cut from that squad and there is fuck all depth there

This season was always gonna be a write off. If Cole,Downing, Carroll and Carragher all leave, the wage bill will have been reduced massively and free up more funds. But the club is now set up to produce their own stars with BRod making sure the academy and senior squad all sing from the same hymn sheet. It’s gonna take time to turn it around alright but my only worry is with the run of games coming up in Jan/Feb Liverpool could be looking at a bottom half finish. That would be a disaster in the short term in regards transfers as it seems the scouting system at the club is incapable of unearthing hidden gems.
