4m quid for Tom Ince is an absolute steal (though they sold him for 250k), heās a superb player already and is getting better.
The Sturridge part, thoughā¦bloody hell.

Maybe you should start a āYou have to laugh - part 3ā thread
It was broke by a Liverpool Echo journo last week. Iāve threatened to go nuclear if Sturridge signs and I still hold to thatā¦ Letās hope b-rod is just using this as a smokescreen and pulls out Llorente .

Canāt see the attraction of Sturridge. Canāt event get a look in at Chelsea. Donāt see how he would work with Suarez either. As for Ince, crazy money for him after letting him so for a song. Seems a decent player but not for a team supposedly with CL ambitions.
Iām on the verge of tears here. What a fucking shamblesā¦ Thankfully Iām just back from watching the hobbit, and Bilbo and the shirelings have once again taught me the lesson of strength and courage in the face of adverse times.
Sturridge is a good player that needs regular football at this stage of his career having spent the early part chasing coin.
The fee quoted is ridiculous though. you would think liverpool have learned their lesson paying way over the odds for british players
Liverpool need to trade out the following players - reina (not bothered), johnson (talented but diabolical professional), skrtle (gone back hugely), henderson (lost), downing (lost), carragher (crazy wages for a 4th choice centre half), carroll (no explanation necessary), Cole (no explanation necessary). gerrard is finished too but unlikely to leave
Think we should be aiming a bit higher than the new Carlton Cole. Is Richie Partridge still on our books?
Realistically probably only Cole and Downing will leave this window. Carragher is gone at seasons end and most likely Carroll too. Those lads would reduce the wage bill massively and free up a chunk of wedge that we can then blow on another over priced piss flap.
  samuel was absolutely destroyed in spainā¦lucio did make some rash tackles but he was a super footballerā¦he was so comfortable on the ball ā¦he was brilliant at walking the ball out of defence and starting an attackā¦thereĀ“s fcuk all centre halves that can do that anymoreā¦always thought Mourinho would ahve brought him to Madridā¦if ever there was a team who needed a footballing centre half to walk out the ball its themā¦
Did i wake up from a nap on April 1st?
FFS, Walcott would be bought for that or less iād imagine.
Samuel is highly regarded in Italy, he was outstanding for Roma under Capello, he had a poor year at Real who were a complete mess at the time which certainly mitigates things. He has been excellent ever since he came back to Italy and was voted Serie A defender of the year for the year Mourinho won the treble. Samuel was Inter Milanās best defender during the Mourinho reign. Lucio has now been ran out of his last three clubs.
The rantings of a Chelsea fanā¦
So let me just get this straight for a minuteā¦
Firstly we pay Liverpool Ā£50m for a striker who is clearly not the player he used to be. A striker who cannot score to save his life unless itās against opposition roughly the quality of Torquay. A striker who has bitched and moaned a lot - right after the CL win for example saying it was the worst time of his career, saying later that he didnāt care if we won or lost.
In addition to that we get rid of Anelka and Drogba and bench Sturridge (our top scorer and a quality young English player) so that Torres is our #1, so that there is no-one to challenge him and dent his confidence.
Then we bring in a former Liverpool manager who the fans despise in order to try and squeeze something - anything - out of a striker who has become the worst transfer in the history of football.
Now we are selling Sturridge to Liverpool so that they can improve their season with another goal scorer, whilst we remain with simply Torres up front, missing chance after chance, throwing his arms in the air, smiling sarcastically at referees whilst sitting on the floor because he wasnāt awarded a penalty for falling over the ballā¦?
What the f**king hell is happening to this football club?
Canāt really argue with any of that much as I despise that club and their fans.
Richard Dunne being linked with a move to Malaga today
I see Roystene Drenthe has agreed to join some no mark club in Russia, shame he hasnāt fulfilled his potential. Looked a fine player in the making for the Dutch at the Euro under 21ās back in 2007
Yes similar to watching Anderson at Porto when I thought he was going to go on to be a world beater, Drenthe looked class at those championships. Theyāre both reasonably young but looks unlikely now that they will fulfil their early promise.
Looks like the Sturridge deal is off, thankfully.
I presume thatās to go and live in a villa (no pun intended) by the sea. The reports seem to indicate that heās proper crocked and they donāt know how to fix himā¦?
Bit of an aashole unfortunately.
My sources tell me that Lewandowski to United is a done deal.
