Kaka has turned down City apparently. His agents probbably havent though.
Kaka has officially turned down a move to Manchester City. He came out to the front of his gaff with a Milan shirt held above his head and starting banging his fist off his chest in front of a scrum of waiting photographers. Milan have officially confirmed the news too, as have Manchester City.
Some good news tonight anyway.
Who will tell the City Fans.

I am sure they will still end up with the likes of a David Silva, Benzema, Totti or some other big name before the end of january
They got Bellamy.
Totti’s going nowhere.
There’s whispers they’re now trying to get Arshavin from under Arsenal’s nose.
And they still have 200 million to spend…
They will pay over the odds for the likes of Cruz and Palacios.
Still they can well afford to…
I think the really big name players will stay away from City till at least the summer to see where they finish. If they dont have European football then it will be hard for them to attaract top players.
brilliant for Italian football fans- Milan have argubably 3 of the most exciting players in the world in their team- Totti Messi being the exceptions
Totti refused bigger & better teams than Man City Pukey - he will never leave Roma
Love this guy, class.
Kaka’s 100million transfer to Manchester City collapsed and star striker Robinho walked out of their training camp in Tenerife as the club were pitched into crisis last night.
The Kaka camp were critical of City’s negotiating tactics after a meeting broke up with no financial offer placed in front of the AC Milan midfielder.
‘We thought they were serious,’ one insider said last night. ‘However, they acted as if this was just a game. We are sure (City’s owner) Sheik Mansour will not be impressed when he learns of this development.’

City denied the claims from Italy. Milan immediately declared victory. Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi said: ‘Kaka stays. He has decided that he doesn’t want Manchester City’s money. He wants to stay with us here. It is official now that he is staying at Milan.’
Kaka said: ‘All the messages coming my way said to choose with my heart and at the end that’s what the choice was. It was absolutely not about economics. At the end what counted was my history, where my ties are and where my heart really lies.’
City executive chairman Garry Cook said: ‘While Manchester City has an obvious interest in world class players of the quality of Kaka, we owe it to our fans that such a
transfer must work on every level; commercially, financially, in terms of results on the field and within Manchester City’s broader community.’
The night of embarrassment also left City struggling to find Robinho. Earlier in the evening he left their training base and frantic phone calls were being made last night to establish the whereabouts of their 32.5m British record signing.
Calm before the storm: Robinho and Hughes after Saturday’s victory
Sportsmail understands that the striker has become restless at City, although the full reasons behind his latest tantrum are still to be established.
Manager Mark Hughes and his coaching staff believe they can persuade him to stay, but that appears uncertain.
Chelsea, who had courted Robinho before City swooped on transfer deadline day last August, are likely to monitor the situation with growing interest.
Talks between Kaka’s father and agent, Bosco Leite, Cook and Simon Pearce, representing Sheik Mansour, had been under way in Milan.
An earlier meeting involving Milan officials and Kaka’s management team was said to have been ‘difficult’.
A second round of talks was planned for today, with City preparing to make their official offer to the player, previously reported to have been worth around 500,000 a week.
But their approach yesterday, when they failed to talk money with Kaka’s father, was said to have ‘surprised and disappointed’ the Brazilian’s negotiating team.
Soon after the meeting broke up, Kaka withdrew from the transfer. It is believed he had spoken to Robinho — they had been in daily contact since City’s offer — but it is not known if the developments are linked.
City will today begin their attempt to lure Robinho back to their training camp, which was meant to have helped with squad harmony.
Earlier, Italian Premier and Milan president Berlusconi returned from a Gaza peace summit in Egypt and held a 90-minute meeting concerning Kaka with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.
Protest: An AC Milan supporter holds a banner reading ‘Kaka is not on sale’ last night
A group of about 500 fans protested outside Milan’s offices, chanting ‘Don’t sell Kaka’.
The player last night appeared at a window of his home in downtown Milan, waving a shirt and pounding his chest in a display of loyalty to the club.
Berlusconi added: ‘For Kaka money is not everything. It was my intervention but also his that stopped this. When it surfaced that he wanted to stay and did not care about the salary and had decided to put the club and its supporters ahead of everything else, I said “Come on” and we hugged.’
Hughes will attempt to appease Robinho by pointing to the rapid progress that is being made by City off the pitch. They are now close to concluding a further 27m worth of transfer business. West Ham striker Craig Bellamy checked in last night, joining Wayne Bridge in moving to the north-west for 12m in this transfer window, and Hamburg midfielder Nigel de Jong, 24, is also expected to arrive for 15m.
Of the Brazilian players City have so far signed, Robinho has actually caused Hughes the fewest problems.
He has, for the most part, been busy scoring goals — 11 in the Barclays Premier League to date from 16 appearances — and has even worn the captain’s armband.
Tantrum: Robinho will ask for a move with Chelsea one of the leading clubs
Now, however, something has caused a major rift that is sure to alert a number of leading clubs, with Chelsea no doubt chief among them.
Luiz Felipe Scolari was convinced Kaka would be joining him at Stamford Bridge last summer and the Chelsea manager regarded him as a key part of his plans.
Meanwhile, City may throw midfielder Michael Johnson into a proposed deal for Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given. They made an improved offer of 9m over the weekend for the Republic of Ireland international but are still struggling to persuade the north-east club to sell.
Now they may offer Johnson, 20, to Newcastle after the youngster lost his way at City.
QPR owner and Formula One magnate Flavio Briatore, speaking in Portugal yesterday at the launch of his Renault team’s new car, joined the widespread criticism of City’s transfer policy.
He said: ‘If you put Michael Schumacher in a Minardi you are going nowhere. If you put Kaka in this club it is going nowhere. I think it is completely mad.
‘When Robinho arrived it looked like it solved every problem — and now the team is very close to going down.’
Kaka is a legend.
lots of hype at the game at the weekend about him and plenty of banners in the corwd for him. Pato scored a great goal in the game too, really is a bright future with them playing together.
Here Rocko or any other bundeliga fans…How good is Nigel De Jong, haven’t seen too much of him…Will he be a good signing for City…
Crazy quotes from Berlusconi there. They didn’t have to accept the bid if they didn’t want him to go. They obviously wanted to cash in and now have to pretend that they persuaded him to stay.
