Jeremy Corbyn he's in the SA

Do you?

It would appear you donā€™t.

Maybe try to answer your own question for your own benefit?

  1. Wrong, and perfectly legitimate to criticise her over in terms of legacy. If she was still running for office then it would be legitimate to critique her over now.

  2. Re that picture. Not a big fan of Bidi but he is still a head of state of one the USā€™s most important allies.

  3. Selling the Saudis weapons. Not a fan. I believe the Tories have been criticised over this repeatedly as well in the Press.

Can you please point out how Corbyn rejecting the Anglo Irish Agreement, going to tributes for dead terrorists and McDonnell rejecting the Good Friday Agreement was ā€œahead of its timeā€?

There is no character attack on the researcher. His background, including opinions over Corbyn, and the content of his piece was questioned. You clearly donā€™t know what an ad hominem attack is, or are bringing it up to deflect.

Please show within that piece the work performed on other previous opposition leaders.

Itā€™s absolutely a character attack on the researcher.

Youā€™re saying that because the researcher supports Corbyn, his research is automatically invalid and thus calling his character into question.

That is an ad hominem attack.

I donā€™t know why youā€™re so obsessed with research on other politicians.

Stand alone studies are perfectly valid pieces of research.

I didnā€™t say the research was invalid. I said a ā€œfindingā€ that Corbyn was disproportionally targeted over other previous opposition leaders was invalid because;

  • there is no actual work performed within the piece to substantiate that. The research itself says at the end this is ā€œarguableā€.

That ā€œargumentā€ is from a researcher who had very pronounced previous views published on Corbyn and the ā€œleft movementā€.

That isnā€™t ad hominem Sid, that is a basic argument.

As a standalone piece, great, they researched the treatment of Corbyn in the media and that stands up. Thatā€™s fine and dandy, but you have to substantiate the statement that it is worse than others, as it is key to your argument.

Cool. So weā€™ve established that the Tories support and have supported some very nasty people indeed, and that you admiringly posted up a picture of one of those people just the other day and said ā€œGreat to see Donald meeting one of the great alliesā€.

And yet you bizarrely claim to hold some sort of high moral ground on this issue.

Rejecting the Anglo-Irish Agreement was a perfectly legitimate position to take.

Corbyn and McDonnell publicly advocating engagement with the IRA was certainly years ahead of its time, and privately the Tories agreed with them - they were engaged in back channel talks with the IRA.

Voting a certain way on a particular agreement is the democratic right of anybody and a perfectly legitimate position to take.

Israel is not a great ally of the US?

I asked you how rejecting the Anglo Irish Agreement (Corbyn) and the Peace Process (McDonnell) was way ahead of its time? They called for an end to Britain in the North, the Brits are still there, how is that been proven right?

according to the bookies (and they donā€™t be far wrong) Labour wonā€™t be in power untill sometime in 2032 :joy: aboy corbyn, you are doing a great job

Heā€™s a babe magnet

Utter humiliation for Corbyn in the Copeland bye-election. First time Labour have lost the seat (or its precursor Whitehaven) since the 1931 General Election.

Hereā€™s the big chance now for Corbyn before the electorate. @Sidney - any predictions?

The Tories are obviously going to win easily, mate. I think Jeremy Corbyn is a fine man but heā€™s clearly proved himself to be unsuited to being leader since he was re-elected last summer.

Difficult to succeed when most of your parliamentary party is out to knife you in the back from the word go, though, as they clearly have been.

And thereā€™s also that whole thing where over half the UK electorate are hell bent on self-destruction, and all that.

Ronnie Oā€™Sullivan knows the score

No hoping in Scotland
Losing London
Battling with UKIP up north

The only thing Corbyn has succeeded with is animating a small section of the population to join Labour and take it over.

He is utterly hopeless. At a time when Labour should be cutting into the Tories over Brexit, they dither over their policy. At least Michael Foote was intelligent, Corbyn is a bumbling idiot and if McDonnell could get himself on the ballot for leader then Corbyn would be gone already.
