Boris played off Farage and The Brexit Party and stoked peoples fears turning the UK into a hostile and unwelcoming country. It was depressing to witness this but very effective, just look at the posters on here giving Jezza a hard time for being a good decent human being

Bitter towards Jezza? I thought he was great. A godsend for the Conservative and Unionist party. Just a pity Labour didnât keep him in for a few more years to let him preside over the Five in a row of elections lost by Labour.

He might well be worse. Boris doesnât give a fuck about people. Corbyn thinks theyâre worth sacrificing.
People by and large vote for what they perceive as the safest option. Corbyn was seen by many Labour supporters as too much of a nut to vote for. Boris isnât far right ffs, stop drinking the kool aid. The Tories are a bunch of wankers but the British public decided overwhelmingly that Boris was preferable to Jeremy. Itâs as simple as that, itâs called risk management.
