Not sure if it is more insecure than backward to be fair. You can smell the insecurity off some of the posts here like piss in a nursing home.

I reckon it’s backward, catholic guilt/shame and all that, you’d have most of the roasters at the gah match trying to catch a glimpse of the nipple and ignoring the match, fucking backward apes

Or very progressive in refusing to allow a race to the bottom in our transport system. Half the cities UBER operates in are trying to get rid of it sure. We are way ahead on this one

@backinatracksuit said nipple.

You hang around Uber staff on their smoke break to listen in on their conversations?

No mate, I was joking that they’re a nerdy enough looking bunch, don’t worry about it

You’re dialing it in the last few days mate

@Watchyourtoes did you find a new job yet

Have my course done since Friday waiting for my vetting to clear and my licence to be granted!

I cant see you as a healthcare asistant

I’m sure he’ll be grand behind the counter in boots

Any good little nuggets for me? Competency/STAR based — How you use your time / How you make decisions / Conflict / Goal Driven / what motivates you …

The bit that I’m never great at is asking questions at the end … I always feel like you should but i was totally bambozzled a while back when a bint that was interviewing me turned the question around on me and done me up like a kipper.

Ask them where they see themselves in 5 years time.

Why is the position open? New or replacing someone? What’s the work life balance like? Is there a social society?

Just pretend you’re interested in the company.

It’s public service (education - non 3rd level) I’ve never interviewed with them before…

Usually you’ll have two interviewers.

Ask the one you got on with or connected with what’s the best thing about working with the company.

Then turn to the one you didn’t like or connect with and ask them what’s the worst thing. You’ll get a handy answer for the first question, if they dodge the second question or say it’s all good they’re bullshitting you.

Don’t join them when they offer you the role.
