Joe Canning, Unquestionably the GOAT

And it’s a small market. Especially the hurling ones.

And fuck it 75% of it is made up. The memory is an awful thing.

I didn’t hear a word, I can’t get over the cut of him. What’s he at ? :joy:

would the like of a Joe have €50k out of it?

I’d say there is hardly 50k to be made out of it between JC and the ghost writer. Closer to 10k I’d say. Still money for old rope

yeah €50k was a high call

For €10k. Jaysus. Not worth it.

Going off other book sales it could shift around 20,000 copies in a year. That would be 300k at €15 a book. He’s surely getting 10% of that?

Is there any decent GAA biography that’s genuinely worth a read?

Ger Loughnanes one

Liam Hayes.

Out of our skins.

A grand lad but he’s a bit socially inept, he’d fit in well here

He’s no Ollie or Ivan

Crossmaglen footballer David Bentley has a good book in him

Liam Dunne’s was decent enough. Released 20 years ago now.

Shure lookit

Ah stop. He came out of like a pure wanker.

It was Box Office though.

If your definition of box office is everyone being stunned he was as much of a tramp as he admitted, then yes.

That was the other lad

It always was

Someone said to me one time a writer makes about a euro a book
