We’re blessed to be living in this era of Joe Canning. A great great human.

Same the last day. Clare scored points in the second half and each time Canning responded with super scores of his own.

I’m a cynical bastard but Canning is a real leader.

He was brilliant today. He led the line superbly. Clare getting his dander up was unwise.

Joe is the greatest I’ve seen in my lifetime. A lovely fellow as well.

Rare enough he gets involved in any of that stuff but Clare provoking him today really backfired.

I think Joe decided going out he wasn’t going to be pushed around today. He was giving it to Cleary from early on and wasn’t shy of doing a bit of referee-management a la Shefflin.
The shots back at the critics have a ring of siege-mentality/self-motivated to them.

Who are these “critics” in the media questioning Galways character?

Idiot. :man_facepalming:

Ex players, some of them are dead. That’s how bad things are in Galway.

Advantage Limerick.
