He was unlucky to play in an era dominated by Kilkenny in his early years and Limerick in his later years.
Still, he has his 1 All Ireland from 2017 and will treasure that.
It’s an awful pity he was only moved to centre back when his career was all but over. He’d have at least 3 more All Ireland medals had he been moved there 10 years ago
