What? Reply? We all look like simpletons just like our leader. Pursuing the whole thing. In general was cringe
It was embarrassing the carry on after that match.
Is this pisshead baker from Waterford the first Irish administrator to fail to sell out a home match against England aka the old enemy?
The rogbee crowd sell this mid size stadium out a few times every year, has the soccer team ever sold it out? Serious question

Yes
Yes, would have been sold out for the German games, Slovakia and Russia qualifiers as well for definate
Would assume it would have sold out for the Italy, France and Estonia games in recent times as well.
The last match was a sell out, mate.
This match, however, is a pile of shit, and Iâll be turning off when The Sunday Game comes on.
In fairness, it was scheduled up against a Westmeath v Wexford hurling/football double header. Hard to compete with that.

Slovakia and Russia were far from sell outs with close to 10,000 empty seats at both matches.
Italy and France have not played an association football match at the new stadium.
Germany, Estonia and Poland are to the best of my knowledge, the only three teams to attract a capacity attendance.

I was at the Germany 6-1 game, and the Italy and France games in Croker. Loads of seats free. Maybe all bought up as unused 10 year tickets. No full houses ever so I take it. Shows how irrelevant soccer is outside of dublin.
I suppose the Polskis here filled it
Did Brazil draw a full house?
Didnât Oirelandâs top two club sides, Celtic and Liverpool, fill it out last year or year before for a challenge match?
Brazil have never played at the Dublin Arena.
Because if you didnât, youâd still show the accounts as owing FIFA 5m which would be wrong. Itâs no longer a loan once the contingency kicks in.
Iâm not sure what your understanding of accounting is, but if the loan isnât going to be repaid then you need to recognise it in the income statement and you generally do so over the term of the project it is covering. That could either be the stadium, or the finance of the stadium. Thatâs how and why you amortise it.
Genuine question. Why is it called a âloanâ in the first place, if it is never intended to be paid back? Is there a tax angle or somesuch?
Are there many in the singing section today?
It seemed to have been conditional on non-qualifying for World Cup.
FAI would have pleaded financial hardship. FIFA would have said well weâll give you money but you have to pay it back if you get money from us for qualifying next time because weâre not paying you twice.
Not a double header
Delaney has personally pocketed âŹ8k of Fai money this week.
How has he earnt it? Answering questions about a bribe he took on behalf of the Fai and then entertaining corporate punters before a game v England that hardly anybody wanted to watch.
Heâll take another 8 k next week.
