Seems to have been made during family law proceedings. For very valid reasons. He has a history of doing the right thing and has taken voluntary pay cuts before for the good of the association. He has stood aside again here for the good of the association. History will be kind to John.

Best of luck to John in his new role. He could be CEO of any number of plcs but sticks around in a tinpot country because of his love for the game. Of course losers like Ewan Mckenna bluster and harangue him online, they hate succesful people.
