Genuine affection or complicity in hiding the financial clusterfuck of an organization he ran?
the AFS are there for all to see
It was in response to someone saying 17k a month net of tax wasnât great for someone on a five year contract. The role wasnât mentioned.
How was it the FAI managed to secure such a capable CEO as John? There must have been very intensive recruitment process?
What was the salary of his predecessor?
The word âroleâ seems to be uniquely attached to John Delaney in the way people going out to pubs before Christmas are uniquely called ârevellersâ.
Tis Ned Quinn they want. If he can get a championship football game involving Dublin down to Nowlan Park heâd have these fifi cunts eating out of his hand in seconds and all it would cost is 3 square a day and a few pints thrun in.
Right lads ye need to stop with these bullshit questions. Heâs worth every penny, would walk into a CEO job elsewhere, etc
Frank is the man needed here.
Nice stunt by sports Ireland to withdraw funding with no actual consequence.
The money wonât be needed for a few months by which time this will all have blown over.
The 100k loan should be chicken feed to an organisation like the FAI really. The real question is what was the FAIâs bank account balance at the time of the transfer? If they were overdrawn fair enough. If they werenât then the transfer could be seen as a cynical exercise by someone to hide some of their assets. I am sure that was not the case.
Surely a transfer like that would stick out like a sore thumb and be a pretty ineffective way of hiding assets ?
Surely an accountant like Dela could have come up with something a bit smarter than that.
Thing about divorce from the little I know of it, is it is a bitter game of one-upmanship which brings out the worst in all concerned, and every curtain and teaspoon is a minor victory. Its about point scoring often as not.

Youâd have thought the same thing about Sean Fitzpatrick and Michael Fingleton.
Absolute power makes people very lazy.
The initial response was that it was a family law matter but that seems to ha e gone by the wayside. But Iâm sure that itâll be brought up today at the DĂĄil committee

I wonder does John Delaney know Dmitriy Rybolovlev, the Russian oligarch who owns AS Monaco and was involved in the worldâs most expensive ever divorce settlement?
Mr. Rybolovlev would be a tremendous font of information about how to hide assets.
Dela is small fry compared to that chap.
Iâm sure heâs studied his methods
I think the most likely situation here is that Fine Gael and John Delaney come to an agreement that three John Delaney Parks around Ireland will be renamed âKylie Minogue Parkâ, and theyâll forget the whole 100k loan business ever happened.
