Keily has set Limerick hurling back 20 years. Youâd never see a Na Piarsaigh man grovelling like that
Like Sausages on a string
Limerick people must be asking themselves how did Keily allow SON to get inside his head so easily. There is a lot of bad blood there, even before the whole Ronan Lynch saga erupted. Keily would not be as revered in the city as much as he is out in the sticks thats for sure
Galway never respected Limerick.
Weâre down to the die hard wind up merchants now, trying to scrape the last bit of attention for themselves. Sad to see
Na Piarsaigh sowed the seeds for Limericks the counties success, they thought the county how to win but Keily wont play any of them. This is the source of the beef between them but theres more to it than that
You are down in Cobh sunning yourself, youâd be are out of touch with what is happening on the ground in Limerick hurling circles
This thread is a welcome distraction from the "I havenât done a stroke of work " thread
Who manages Na Piarsaigh kid?
Youâd have your ear to the ground Mike. Why wouldnât Keily give Lynch a run that time? He certainly had more about him than CON. That is the source of the beef
I slept in my Nap jersey last night. I never slept so soundly in all my days
I presume youâre talking about Ronan Lynch?
Correct, what is the story there? What Iâm hearing is there is bad blood over that
Just watching here on IPTV⌠Kiely might regret those comments about Galway lads diving.
Personally I believe it all started at the 2015 u21 all Ireland. With Limerick winning at a canter, Lynch was hauled off. When questioned why he was taken off he was told he "didnât work hard enough " Kiely said as much in an interview after the game. Iâm sure if you Google it, youâll find it. That imo is where it all started and Kiely doesnât trust him to put in the hard yards. Youâll get lads who will disagree with me but Iâd be 95% sure thatâs when the love affair started to come to an end.
My word. No wonder there is no love loss there. I wonder did he say the same thing to one or two of them lads there on Sunday? Keily appears to leave a trail of destruction after his post match interviews, would PJ not fork out out for a bit of media coaching, it might save him having to make any more grovelling apologies in the future. Iâd say he regrets shafting young Lynch now in fairness
I genuinely didnt expect this to drag on so long. Kielyâs climb down yesterday really ignited it again.
Has Thugby FM commented yet?
Mighty sound gesture from Pat. Presume JP threw him a few bob as well to make things right.
Limerick is a proud hurling county who have enjoyed some great wins in recent years. Off the field, at underage up to senior, we have always had a great relationship with the officers, management, and players, and that will continue.
âOur main focus is on Tipperary now. Fuck Tipp.â
