I just have integrity and those professions donāt have it.

Youāre being inauthentic. You donāt speak with a truthful voiceā¦ You have forgotten the face of your father.
Iāve always carried an expectation of equality and fairness and when professions sink to the lows that journalism and teaching have, I will as much. The people deserve better than being lied to and treated as fools.
Whoās setting the bar, you?
Whoever sets it, journalists and teachers are experts at lowering it.
Ah lads
No! Youāre a scumbag.
FFS
Iāve heard of her before. Before JPās breakdown sheād been rising to prominence on the back of his fame, pushing her meat only diet. Malarkey might be right that she canāt be following it that seriously because I remember at the time reading an article with an expert saying that if she was serious about it she would start to encounter serious health problems in a few years, which should be round about now.
You can be sure thereās plenty of precedent for it and against it. Not all meat is created equally, thereās some evidence that eating organic grass fed beef has the nutritional profile as a varied diet
Does the daughterās exploits have anything to do with JPs writing?
No idea
I donāt think so.
I mean, very few Christians behave like Christians so do we discredit the Bible here or the individuals?
As chance would have it Iāve been learning a little bit about our hunter-gatherer past and why we developed agriculture.
Humanity has spent 95% of its existence as hunter-gatherers and only 5% as farmers. Remarkably the prehistoric hunter-gatherers were much taller than the later farmers and itās only in the past 100 years or so that weāve started to catch up to the height of our hunter-gatherer ancestors.
However, hunter-gatherers did not eat only meat. The men went hunting and the women did the gathering. They probably spent all day at it. The gathered part still constituted a vital part of the diet, although whether it was more or less than half the total diet would depend on the circumstances.
Agriculture developed in the Indus Valley when the Earth was unexpectedly plunged into a major cold snap about 12,000 years ago called the Younger Dryas. Before the Younger Dryas the ladies in the Indus Valley had been gathering nuts from trees and those made up much of the diet. The cold snap killed those trees but in the middle of the crisis one gatherer, presumably a lady, got the idea of making up for that shortfall by planting grains. So the first farmer was almost certainly a woman.
The point is though that meat alone couldnāt make up for the decreased foraging during the cold climate. We need more than that.
Also, fruit might be better for us than vegetables. Weāve been gathering and eating fruit for probably 100,000s of years longer than vegetables, which is why we donāt need to cook fruit.
I think on TFK we discredit them both.
Thatās a serious load of cod.
hes talking farming, not fishing
This thread couldnāt sink any lower.
Fooly: āHold my beer.ā
youre really quite tetchy these days.
theres a fierce bang of illusory superiority on al your posts over the last 6 months. are things getting to you that badly?
weāre here to help. and listen, buddy
Being outed as a racist has been a bitter pill to swallow.
Iāve been thinking about this great post of mine. Maybe I should create a new diet based on the communities of the Indus Valley before the Younger Dryas.
