Luckiest man in football. Massive payoff, Christmas at home with the family and someone else gets to watch them being destroyed by PSG.

Third season syndrome for Jose again except this time they didn’t win anything in season one or two either

Mad to sack him . He has far more won the Alex Ferguson after 2.5 years . Short term thinking again .

24 MILLION!!! Ah lads

Thought they might let him get through the CL but it’s probably best to get rid now - they have the bones of a decent squad and the fall out and clean up at the end of season would have been too much if they left him there…Get rid of the negativity … make up your shortlist for the summer who I imagine will consist of Zidane, Pochettino + An other.

The obvious choice for Utd is a serial winner like Conte.

Roy Keane is dusting off his CV

Wenger would be a great choice

The game has moved on. He did a great job at Porto and was a breath of fresh air when he came to the Premier League. He was box office but he had a great set of players at Chelsea. He did a great job at Inter, they still love him there.

Over time it became more about the “cult of Jose” it wasn’t the players, it was all about him. He is a three season manager. Achieve quick results with huge effort and intensity so much so that people have enough of him after three years and hate his guts. And he hates theirs.

United should have known what they were getting into, they saw how it fell apart in Chelsea the second time. He was never the right fit for United even if he wanted the job. Looking at his face on the sideline, he’s looked permanently pissed off, I’d say he hasn’t enjoyed football for years. Once he was publicly slagging off his players and talking about “heritage” it was only going to end one way.
