Sending and requesting via text will no doubt constitute quite a number I imagine.
We’ll bow to your expertise on this matter, buddy.
So if one had a second phone which was bought with cash and under a false name, they have no way of tracing that it was the individual in question? Was this plonker using his every day phone ?
in his eyes he was committing no crime, it was a “loving” relationship, why wouldnt he use his own phone
but in general i believe, say if you want to make a load of hoax phonecalls to someone at 2am in the morning, the approach you outlined for using a phone purchased that way is advised
Was watching Meet the Fockers there at the weekend. 2004 movie. Rock and Roll pt2 is on the soundtrack. I wonder was that the last time Gary Glitter got paid a royalty.
he was, but your approach is safe for now…
still used quite frequently in a lot of American sports stadiums to generate the false atmosphere for the fans. would you get royalties off that?
I’m not so sure you should do that buddy, I’ve as much a grasp of the law as art.
Heard this on another movie about a month ago and was wondering if we are still allowed to like the song-are we?
You should do, as far as I know. Sure IMRO in Ireland collect fees from even a shop that has the radio on to distribute royalties to artists.
Also, he’s credited as a co-writer on an Oasis tune off their first album (iirc) so he’d get royalties from that. I presume it still sells quite a bit. I think the KLF also sampled it on one of their hits which you’d occasionally hear around the place.
Music nerd, me? Nah.
Yes I think it’s ok to separate the art from the artist.

Doctoring the Tardis.
Quality tune
Rock and Roll pt2 is the quality tune pal.
Hello off the second LP Whats the Story. Reputed to have earned a mill off it.
I read somewhere a while back that Glitter still makes over a £100k a year in royalties.
Presume he still gets a good bit from Rock and Roll Christmas too. You still hear that these days.
More power to him
I’d prefer if we referred to him by his real name of Paul Gadd.
Which is actually only two "a"s away from being Paul GaaDad…

Or an FAI away from Gaddafi.
