I was thinking as much. It must be 5-6yrs ago we first heard about these allegations. Its been very slow to get to this point.

I re read ‘Booked’ on holiday over last few weeks. 80% of articles were excellent the other 20% utter shite. He despised rugby with a passion he would fit right in here. Funny to read it in hindsight though as he was predicting the demise of the game in ireland going back to even before it turned pro

Recent enough I’d say. I saw him in a restaurant in Howth recently (in the last year) and he had gone an awful size. According to the radio he gave his address as Corr Castle, Sutton, which is a nice gated development.

Would he have made a lot over the years from the books?
Is if effectively his checking into rehab and citing mental health issues etc that’s held up this trial and sentencing for years?
