JP McManus ProAm

I had a hurling mentality, he got me to visualise a tennis forehand topspin shot, put my hands ahead of the ball on address and then smack it. It was class to see it happening tbf, really helped my irons and driving.

Ben Hogans book “The Five Lessons in Golf” is excellent too.

A nasty, nasty attack.

Maybe I’ll play one hole for 18 weeks. @Locke , where we going?

Mahon GC mate. It’s close by in leafy T12 and is a good test whilst being forgiving. Plus it welcomes all denominations

You can see it out our skylight too so princess can check on me

Brady will hear all the fucks and hollering too

Mahon is a fun course for only 20 bucks. Played there a few weeks ago. Walking up heartbreak hill on the first hole will get the glutes firing for the round. Dinger of a par 3 4th hole as well. @Thomas_Brady should ge able to get around in just over 2 hours with the missus being none the wiser.

Has he discovered his ancestors?

Rumour has it he’s a distant relative of a good hurling family from Ahane in Limerick, the Morans.

Now, a little know fact about them, they’re actually related to Eoin & Paul Kelly that used to hurl for Tipp. You’d think this would be a well known fact but it’s been kept well underwraps for years for some reason and rarely mentioned by anyone

Wish RTÉ would bring it up

Could you send that perfectionist in RTE a dm? Darran Fehill?
