Katie Taylor - The Hype

It’s top, top promoting

He can probably increase that 3Arena price given tickets will be like hot cakes

Why do you think that is? Taylor hasn’t sold 80k tickets for all her fights combined. For all the “love” for Katie people aren’t going to pay big money to see her,the undercard would have to be savage and even with that she wouldn’t sell 20k tickets

Probably, it’s the low risk option, which is fair enough. But he may say it then instead of acting the bollox

Could he get two lads off youtube to fight each other as a warm up?

Exactly but you have plenty of rubes who won’t even go hopping like mad that the Gaa won’t let her fight in CP

And they think 80 people will,it’s laughable

Top, top promoting by Eddie Hearn. This will turn into a saga & national debate. It will fill the airwaves & be spoken about in the Dáil. It’ll be the subject of newspaper & online columns, & agenda setting TV shows. It’s the Garth Brooks effect again, people who wouldn’t have been arsed going will now be determined to attend once Croke Park is belatedly confirmed as the venue.

Ger Redser O’Grady on Tipp FM this morning issuing a ‘come and get me plea’ to Eddie Hearn and offering up Semple Stadium as a compromise.

What a kingmaker, Redser would make.

She’s quite tasty though

One of your finest TFK moments. Just casually dropping “feeding two birds with one scone” into the mix. I’d give it 10 likes if I could.

A lot of “fight fans” from the US and the UK would fly in for this according to OTB so they think Failte Ireland should subsidise the costs.

When it goes ahead in the point, people will want price of tickets subsided as they will be too expensive
