Kilbane does great work for the downs syndrome association. I think he is an alright sort. He isn’t as painful as most pundits and doesn’t go out of his way to be controversial. He just says it as he sees it.

I was in his presence before in the mixed zone after an international football match. Had a quick chat with him - after the chap beside me called out ‘Killer’ - and he was a thoroughly alright sort .

Met him briefly as I was staying in the same hotel as him and it was around the time of Ray Tracey’s funeral. Good chap, an alright sort
