Gray is suing the NOTW ( another Murdoch company ) over the phone tapping scandal, so there is a feeling this may be an attempt to teach him a lesson.

I didn’t know about the NOTW thing until I read it on here, but the fact that the clip was leaked rather than accidentally broadcast certainly suggests it was all orchestrated. Has any journalist brought up this connection yet or are they all too terrified of Murdoch?
