Kilkenny GAA 2020 - A Hurling Journey - World Champions

Overall a successful year would be a senior club win for Ballyhale, competitive league for the seniors (semis), get to the Leinster Final and maybe squeak a win and do well in the knockout part of the championship.

Would like to see Lyng doing well with the U20s, a final appearance here would be nice.

Round off the year winning in New York and retaining the World Series

Enjoy the celebrations but be forewarned , being World Hurling Champions bring huge pressure .

The crucial Intermediate league draw. I’d forgotten that O’Loughlains won the Junior, Conahy AI champs and still down Junior, you couldn’t make it up.

How did O’Loughlins win junior? Their senior team looked fairly average on RTE the day I watched them.

They’d have a good pick being a city team. James Stephens were up at the grade a few years back too so it’s not uncommon

Their U20s also beat a Ballyhale U20 side containing Adrian Mullen, Evan Shefflin, Eoin Cody, Mason etc… So they’ve good youth coming through. No stars as such, just high quality for that level in numbers.

What pitch is that @eoghanruadha?

Thomastown

Yes Thomastown @Gman.

@Locke, that’s the first pitch by car park now and the stand you see is on the car park side.

Brilliant :grinning:

Ballyhale beat Rower Iniostige by 38 points. The Rower surely shouldn’t be that bad?

38 points

Freshford beat Callan by a point. Last minute winner by all accounts. Zero wins for the Lockes so far this year, into the relegation mix again :pensive:

4-34 is some score to rack up in 60 minutes.

Not quite Portumna but not far off.

Spare a thought for the keeper. His shoulder just have been hanging off by the end. Hurling must be finished in RI.

I heard a report on the radio yesterday on that game and they had a lot of injuries . That said Adrian Mullen was missing

Lamping in a score every 94 seconds.
