Was talking to a colleague of mine from Myshall yesterday, the early conversation on the Teams call was around hurling before we got down to bidnez. Said he hates them cunts from Wexford, with a passion. And he’s only a young fella. It made my day.
Fixed
We’ll never know.
Which Ballyhale All Ireland winning team was the best? I’d say 2010.
If I was to rank the best Club teams of past 15 years, I’d go for
- Portumna 2009
- Cuala 2017
- Ballyhale 2010
- Na Piarsaigh 2016
Logic is certainly not your thing.
I think you will find Ballyhale Shamrocks beat Portumna (2009 iteration) in 2010 AIF.
The idea that Cuala 2017 were stronger than Ballyhale Shamrocks 2010 is laughable.
The current back to back champions not worth a mention then?
Interesting.
edit: no sign of Birr either
Hope we don’t collapse in the second half like we have being doing of late.
Hopefully they don’t mess this up as I’d like to see great servants to KK hurling going out on their own terms and not through public resentment. The warning signs are there and simmering…
Portumna 2010 were gone back a lot on 2009 when they peaked. They were still a good team though. Ballyhale played very well in the final that year.
Cuala 2017 blew everyone away. Not many teams would have been able to handle them. As dominant an All Ireland campaign as there has been.
On second thoughts though you could make a case Ballyhale 2010 might have been able for them.
Ballyhale 2019 would be ranked number 5. @Piles_Hussain
I don’t remember Birr.
Seemingly Richie Leahy will start for Conor Fogarty, Alan Murphy for Walter Walsh and someone else – probably Martin Keoghan – for John Donnelly.
Paddy Deegan might not start, due to being a close contact.

A team cannot back “a lot” in 12 months.
The list should be:
1 Ballyhale Shamrocks 2010
2 Ballyhale Shamrocks 2019
3 Portumna 2009
4 Na Piarsaigh 2016/Cuala 2017
No one left a glove on Ballyhale Shamrocks 2015 save Kilcormac-Killoughey.
That’s a load of shite if that’s true.I had WW backed for first goalscorer as he was down to play.20/1

Good source. Would say, on balance, news is true.
Portumna 2009 were the best in my opinion.
Absolutely savage in the All Ireland Semi and Final.
We’ll agree to differ on the rest.
That Portumna team destroyed Ballyhale was it 2007? Greatest of all time.

That can’t be true because Cody doesn’t do dummy teams
2009 - 5 goals.
I always got the sense Portumna were even better than the sum of their parts. A bit like Corofin in football.
Just a telepathic understanding with eachother.

He doesn’t do tactics either

Isn’t that the second time that’s happened to him?

That’s more like what I heard alright.

@Midshipman_Asha hes at it again

You’re worse to be entertaining him
