Kilmarnock v Celtic

Good stuff from Celtic in nearly every respect. A little bit more clinical with the finishing and it would be game over but some excellent passing football at pace and they’re working hard without the ball too.

“A couple of inches either side of the crossbar and Commons would’ve had a couple of goals”. - Neil McCann.

Scepovic has been a disappointment. Commons with one cleared off the line now. A diving header to flick a rifled shot over.

Not as fluid in the second half but still having nice attacking moves. That was very close from Commons again.

Good save from Gordon after some slack play by Brown.

Sensational by Connolly to be fair

Guidetti would probably score against this lot if introduced.

Glad for him. He hasn’t been great.

Hon The Scep.

He needs to work on his general play. Hasn’t been dreadful either. Just looks like someone who hasn’t been playing much. Enjoyed his goal though.

Another blistering strike by Commons. He should have scored a few.

Fisher for Matthews.

Interesting change to bring on Fisher. He has the energy and pace to suit this style. Matthews was effective at finding space tonight but didn’t really pick out the right ball much.

Very assured win tonight, after the first 10 minutes it was always only a question of how much. We seem to be much better equipped to playing away from home under Ronnie’s system, even with the few changes up front. Henderson deserves more chances, far better player than McGregor for example

Ronny is my favourite manager since Tommy Burns.

I was delighted with the display tonight and I’m confident that things are coming together. I hope Henderson remains involved - he has a very good all round game and I think he can improve the team. A week in Gran Canaria and a couple of practice games next for Celtic.

Very encouraging alright. Thought the surface helped us. Henderson added energy to midfield and nice touches about him too. Bitton still improving, would like a bit more presence from him and think he visibly tired but he’s first choice there now beside Brown.
