Ralston is just not suited to the way Celtic play. He’s an old skool bread and butter right back and no more. When maeda is bad he’s fcukin rank.
Yeah Maeda had a stinker and even his energy rate wasn’t there to compensate.
Ralston will be needed for squads because he’s homegrown but he’s way off the standard required. He is slow and careless on the ball. But he looked more capable there in the early parts of the Ange era.
Taylor had a very mixed day but in fairness showed up better in the second half. Ralston isn’t capable of anything on the ball at all unless he’s playing behind a winger who is creating all the room for him.
