King Henry of Galway (Part 1) 👑

I haven’t a clue. But you’d be led to believe they wouldn’t have won a thing without Michael Dempsey.

And when the same man couldn’t critically analyse it and improve over four years your solution is to give him another year. What then, another year after that? Despite your claims to know people and whatever time you spend in galway,( in the claddagh isnt it?) you haven’t the first clue about that team or management set up and who does what and whos listened to. I see youve stopped repeating the harte broke the door down anecdote and are now convinced that what players should do is self assess and just magically improve. If they consider their manager a hindrance not a helpafter that assessment too bad, ignore that, just look at yourselves and IMPROVE. Are you on one of you famous sessions down the back of a bus or something you are seriously rambling away here.

I didn’t make it the first place, mate, I just thought it was interesting that that analogy was levelled against those who think Cunningham has done a good job, when it’s quite obviously more appropriate to those who want rid of him.

I mean, you’d swear all Galway had to do was turn up to win an All-Ireland, rather than have to beat Kilkenny, like.

I don’t think anyone really believes that Sidney. Sure if that was the case they’d have managed it with Cunningham

Who would you Galwegians ideally like to see take over the side in order to give them a better crack at it in 2016?

Mattie Murphys time has come

Obviously you missed Galway’s matches this year, mate. Sorry to hear that. GAAGO is good if you’re abroad, I hear. Don’t make the same mistake you did this year. Critically self-analyse where you went wrong instead of lashing out. If you watch the matches I might start taking what you have to say seriously.

No money for an outsider, so it’ll have to be local, theres two club managers who’ve expressed interest before. One i would give a go to. One i certainly wouldn’t. I wont blacken names here before they throw their hat in the ring. Is jj doyle the man to lead the best wexford team in a generation to the promised land, ie within 20 points of Kilkenny?

I was at the hammering they gave to the gym monkeys in tullmaore and the leinster final, and i talk almost daily to lads in whatsapp groups and the like who are are club members etc. You sit at the back of the bus on your own drinking cans. You’ve really revealed your cluelessness on hurling on this thread though, which is fantastic. The evidence that cunningham is the one to lead them to an all ireland that you claimed was there earlier? No word from you on it since.

Word on the street is that AC is holding firm because this group of disgruntled players is alot smaller than reported.

A group of 4/5 palyers is what I am hearing. The others just ‘want to hurl’.

Now you’re rambling, pal. If I didn’t know any better I’d nearly suspect you were drunk.

Ive heard the 4 ringleaders names and if thats all there is he wont go anywhere. I take it the 27/30 is all just bullshit so?

Appears to be.

Post 2092, the evidence you claimed was there? What is it?

Write off next year so.

So what you’re saying, mate, is that there is no evidence this group of Galway players are good enough to win an All-Ireland and that Cunningham has significantly over-achieved by getting them to two All-Ireland finals in four seasons, going close to winning both times?

I would have thought he was best placed but you’d have to wonder after the manner of defeat in the All-Ireland U-21 final. However he’ll have next year at that level, at least, to show he’s learned his lesson from this year. Dunne will be over the senior for another season.

Doyle has had three years in charge of Leinster-winning Wexford U-21 teams. He hasn’t learnt his lesson in All-Ireland series matches. It’s surely time to throw him out on his ass.

Christ, great argumentative technique just imagining what i said. Theres nothing to say another manager wouldn’t improve them, you seem to ignore the two terrible years he had with them in between. He’s had a shot, four in fact. No need to repeat history again. If there was incremental improvement all the way along fair enough but there wasnt, cloonan just had them hopping this year before they were out muscled by Kilkenny.

Who are these ringleaders? Name names here, please. Surely David Collins is one of them after his bizarrely upbeat interview on The Sunday Game on the night of the final. He seemed delighted they lost given he came on and scored a couple of points. Vindication.
