King Henry of Galway (Part 1) 👑

Joyce ran the root act with them after the game last week. Told a few of them they wouldn’t wear the Galway Jersey again. Surprisingly Sean Andy wasn’t one of them!

Sean Andy has got a few roastings on the field but he is honest and doesn’t hide. There were 3 lads I can think of immediately though last week who quit very early in the game so I’m not a bit surprised to hear Joyce take that approach.

Honestly and doesn’t hide and he’s a sound lad but he’s not at the standard required imo. Pj is pj tho and if your not putting the efforts in your gone

I presume one of the lads who was told he won’t wear the jersey again is the same lad who stood up at his club AGM a couple of years back and announced that some of his club teammates weren’t good enough to wear the club jersey so he will surely understand PJs approach.

When was the last time Waylan was anonymous?

Year before last mate he had a poor season by his standards.

Surely Galway have a better keeper than Power. Where has Lavelle gone?

He’s even worse

Blow it up ta fuck McGoldrick

Terrible shot selection

Back to Inisbofin, thanks be to God. Lavelle was a bomb scare.

Reckless cunts.

It said on the article on the 42 that he’s been commuting from Boston to Beagh to play for a few years now, that seems absolutely mad, is he even that good?

Beagh is the PSG of Galway hurling. They fire money around like confetti.

Good auld spot for a sing song and a pint and a hurler that could have had a massive inter County career stuck in the middle of it normally

And maybe some that did, but shouldn’t have.

That’s a fact… I’m sure ya know who I was on about, a fierce sound lad

This is essentially a pre qualifiers throwback for us. First time together in an age, history states it could go well, could go horribly. A combination of the Croker surface and no daithi could mean trouble. Wexford will hit the ground running I feel, they might run out of steam but I think the empty stadium will suit them. The atmosphere and occasion won’t take that bit out of them, inspiring at the start of games but energy sapping at the end. Plus theyve always suffered from a mayo like lack of confidence shooting, frees and play. My opinion is that’s lessened with no crowd (cc @tonykelly) we’re gonna need really mannion or Whelan to have a shoot the lights out unmarkable day and Joe to shoot some LONG RANGE POINTS. Could happen but that’s a lot of hoping rather than knowing things will go right. hard to know.
