A bulldozer. We need a good few.
Sure Limerick have about 18 of them. Shaved gorillas.
Nice start. Galway 1-0 Down 0-0

Down 0-2 Galway 1-7
Conroy is getting better as he gets older. Much better all round player than he was in his mid 20’s. Only problem now is the legs are a lot older.
Who went off for Comer? Didn’t see Finnerty after that so maybe him.
3 quick points for Down. All coming from Barry O’Hagan marks.
And he adds another point from play.
Down playing all the football now
Owen Gallagher a very useful addition to the footballers. Good ball carrier and tends to make good decisions on the ball.
The ship has been steadied

PJ 2/2 and still begging lads to stay on. We’re an actual joke.
Who’s needing the convincing?
Thought we were pretty good today. Eoin Gallagher is a good find.
Comer
There’s history there is there not?
Gallagher looks the right job whatever else. Nice calming influence about him
We won’t have a single starter from the backs and midfield that made appearances in the 2018 semi final. Say what you will but lads like Duggan, Varley, Heaney, Flynn and Ian Burke would all be starters if they were fit/didn’t hate the current management.
Heaney is on the panel and would likely have played in the first two league games. He’s just injured.
Some of the others were hardly pulling up trees for Galway while they were there. Sure, Burke even stopped playing football for the club for a while. Let alone the county. Duggan had a couple decent games but basically was out 2 years with an injury. I don’t know what his status even is these days? Varley a useful option to have but was always in and out of the team. And more often than not on the bench. Flynn would be useful to have available alright as they are thin in midfield with Cooke abroad and McLaughlin not quite ready yet. Why he’s not involved I don’t know. Some of those players would be useful options to have but hardly game changers.
