So it appears Daly might be joining usā¦
Its safe to say he would know very little about the Galway club scene but with the championship only at half way point he will get a chance to view what we have on offer though some of it will be in the shit and scutter of October and November.
Heāll need a Galway selector or at least someone who knows Galway hurlingā¦ Cahill maybe?
Who would be his other right hand men? Any forward coaches in there?
Heāll have fuck all of a budget to work with once his own expences are paidā¦
I believe heās going to be nominated kp, obviously that doesnāt mean he will get it , BTW this is coming from a Galway co board delegate not a Clare sourceā¦
Mattie shoving these desperate Limerick losers right back in their little box:clap:

Galway minor hurling manager Mattie Murphy
Mattie Murphy wasnāt happy with a comment made by his Limerick counterpart Brian Ryan regarding Galwayās perceived easy passage to todayās All-Ireland MHC semi-final.
In a recent interview with TG4, Ryan expressed the view that it was unfair that his team should have to play four games to reach this juncture, while Galway had only the one outing against Antrim.
āWhat is his point?ā the veteran Galway minor boss asked in the Connacht Tribune.
"Our point all along is that we donāt mind going into an open draw scenario at all. We play whatās in front of us and we play when we are told to play and we play who we are told to play.
āIf he has all these games, then surely he has no need to worry about a Galway team that only played a Mickey Mouse match (in his view).ā
Murphy also felt the Limerick management were āout of lineā by attending a recent challenge match between the Galway minors and U21s in Kenny Park.
"Sure their manager also decided he would come down and watch the Galway minors play the Galway U21s in Athenry. To me, that would be a step out of line.
āI canāt envisage myself going to the Gaelic Grounds to watch a private game. We donāt close doors, but having said that, there is a protocol there that you would hope people would abide by.ā
With last yearās Hawk-Eye controversy at the same stage of the championship also still fresh in the memory, there is sure to be plenty of ābiteā to the Croke Park curtain-raiser

Today will be a battle between two excellent teams on the pitch and two wankers on the sideline. May the best team win.
Nail on the head.
Hello again Anthony Cunningham?
Youād have to say his claims for another year at the helm have only been strengthened by Kilkenny and Tipp contesting the Final? Certainly thatās what his camp will be saying

They shouldnāt be we blew an all ireland against kilkenny and could have beaten tipp this year under his charge. We still dont have the hurlers to beat them two but weāre not far off. Properly trained weāre well better than the rest.
They football crowd will be positively seething if the hurlers are allowed splash out. Itās been made clear that the footballers must choose from one of our own, the coffers are empty, in other words. Seen as it was the hurling fraternity who got us into this financial morass Iād say they will be keeping a keen eye on these latest developments
