She had an exhibition of her fathers memorabilia on show in newbridge a few years ago, I drove up to it one day. Touched the famous green and black t shirt from smells like teen spirit is all I can remember from it.

I can look back now and see that the likes of ‘Very Ape’ and ‘Frances Farmer will have her revenge’ are up their with their best work but I remember being underwhelmed at the time. Probably timing from a personal perspective more than anything.

That said the momentum and rawness they achieved with Nevermind left music reeling and was hard to surpass.
