Tell us more Fagan.
Aine great music but it’s amazing how dated he is and how little he had to say, “I hate myself and want to die”
It was a memorable moment in time. Nothing more.
Grohl has musically eclipsed him but will always live in his shadow.
Ah now. Dave Grohl plays pretty good dad rock. Except when he’s on the drums, he was a force of nature playing for queens of the Stone Age.
What’s the truth of if Fagan?

Hasnt bothered sf much.
Sf?
I’ll give you a minute.
Sf?
Listen mate, you were still getting your hole wiped for you the day Cobain decided to end it all and left a bunch of us vulnerable teenagers with a huge vacancy in our listening. Grohl filled this space and launched the Foo Fighters debut album less than 12 months later. Listen to it sometime.
True mate. It’s grand like, they’re good but very samey is all.
I really like Nirvana and Cobain as a songwriter.
I think Nevermind, and to a greater extent In Utero are excellent efforts at albums.
Smells Like Teen Spirit will last the ages. They have some other cracking efforts like In Bloom, Polly, Lounge Act, Serve the Servants, Heart Shaped Box, Rape Me, Dumb etc.

Excellent albums or excellent efforts at albums? I agree with the above, apart from dirge songs such as rape me which only a moany 14 year emo kid could like.
Nirvana and Cobain were excellent but are overrated in comparison to many of their comtemporaries. The Pixies are far superior and have stood the test of time better for example.
Not at all. I agree with you.
