A lot of lads being wronged on this thread. Itâs completely wrong to be mocking a young lad whoâs had his jaw broken, and I wish him well and a speedy recovery, but it is also wrong to be vilifying another young lad when he obviously never set out to inflict that injury.
Itâs also worth remembering there was only one player sent off in the incident and that was the Wexford player who started it by trying to take out Cian Lynch.

Agreed. Letâs draw a line under this tawdry affair and move on. Weâll be collectively grateful young Reck didnât sustain an even worse injury (a broken finger?) and wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Read back up. McNulty made that up and I called him out on it. Reck is a very good young player. He also plays fairly and with great spirit, coming from good GGA stock (MJ Reck and all the rest, the brave young men of 96 will be remembered with the best). He was wronged by many on this thread.
