Il never forget the 07 final between Phil Nixon and wolfie Adams. Nixon was a pub player really but ended up qualifying and getting all the way to the final. He went 6-0 down in the final, at the interval he stabbed himself in the leg with his darts and went on to win 6 sets on the bounce. Wolfie won the final set to ruin the fairytale.
Nixon the poor chap passed away a couple of years after that and Wolfies wife ran off with their gardener.
