This is a smashing match between New Zealand’s Craig Caldwell and Scotland’s Alan Soutar.
Craig is 2-1 up and 8/13 on doubles, but Alan is very much still in it.

Fantastic. Craig has travelled from the other side of the world to be here and now he’ll face the world champion Scotty Mitchell in Round 1 proper.
And with an average of nearly 92 he’s showed that he’s here to win.
Commiserations to Alan but he lost nothing in defeat.
