I know you’re messing here but the amount of people saying he’s still a legend cos he beat cancer is annoying the hell out of me. There’s millions of people all over the world who have beaten cancer and that have inspirational stories but none of them cheated to earn a platform on which to tell their story.

That’s the reason why I said it, Armstrong seems to think that because he beat cancer and fund raises for cancer that it excuses everything else he has done and I think it is a reason why the likes of Nike haven’t dropped him like a hot snot. I am hoping he gets a slap of reality across the face.

You should look into that. Very little of the money raised goes into cancer research. Its a vehicle for him to line his pockets. The man disgusts me.

Indurain was almost as dominant as Armstrong in the '91-'95 period. He’s never discussed. Surely a doper?

Indurain doesn’t avoid suspicion. He’s just from an era where there were loads of dopers but not many caught. Not much different to Roche in those terms, apart from his dominance of course. The fact he was Spanish rather than French or Italian means the courts never went after him.

I’d be surprised if LeMond doped. And very disappointed. He’s the acceptable face of cycling from that era.

You rarely seen his name mentioned in articles about doping. It’s always Riis, Virenque, Pantani etc who are the ones mentioned from that era.

That isn’t the case with Kelly. It’s debatable whether he took EPO or not but not really in debate whether he doped.

You might have a point there mate but I think there all at it to be honest. Sean Kelly is a legend and even if he was up to a small bit of shenanigans I think we should leave him off. Roche is a different case though-sneaky bastard.
