Hadnāt the heart to watch this. Im assuming it went as follows: An insincere and visibly uncomfortable poseur decides the victims are no longer untouchables (since the brits have sort of owned up). Thus, the west brit establishment now feel they have the go ahead to address the matter āsensitivelyāā¦bearing in mind the activities of the ira, context and all thatā¦ After humouring the victimās families for a while the poseur/establishment can simultaneously forgive their own previous contempt for all things northern while resuming a safe distance from anything vaguely sinn fein etc.
Itās really a pity there wasnāt a racial element. Twould have been much easier for tubbs etc to be quite unequivocal
