Mr kodaline seems like a nice guy but heās very dry
Kathryn Thomas has to up her game big time.
Sheāll need twins if not more to regain the title. What title you may ask but Iām sure the good folk here will conjure up something aptā¦
Thatās a dreadful blouse
Some clip on now with Paddy Maloney!
Great version of Drowsy Maggie
By fluke, turned this on only to see Finbar. When I met him few months back, he was in terrible shape. The colour of custard. Good to see him in fine fettle, a legend of a man.
One cool motherfucker.
Finbarr must live in Montrose
That was unreal.
It was to be fair.
Fuck it, Iām going ordering a tin whistle or a flute after that
A few young ones in the audience probably didnāt appreciate that.
Maybe they like other types of music
That stuff never did it for me either, I need a singer
Bit ironic how they do these This Is Your Life like segments after youāre dead. Smashing tho
Magnificent music men.
And a pre-retaliation ābang it up yer bolloxā to the first cunt with the āhow tweeā line. And if itās you @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy , you can jam it up a didge and blow on it like a young Yothu Yindi
I find that it touches something deep within me as an Irish person.
Fair bit of pride to be found firstly be tackling it and secondly getting to a point you can knock a tune out.
Fair play to you, very admirable
(Sidenote: timing big part of music. Iād question if itās in your toolbox given youāre taking up the instrument AFTER 18 months of lockdown!)
It bores me,
That rendition of mo ghile mear was spectacular
I have alright timing, I can keep time fairly well with two bottles and am relatively patient. Hence why I think the bodhran is probably a better fit as there is less techical ability needed.
I am working from home for the foreseeable and find I have a good 30 minutes in the middle of each day which I spend doing fuck all aside from pottering or watching tv which could be used to trying to pick up
a new skill. Even if I did 15 minutes 3 times a week Iād surely be proficient enough to have a hooly in the living room with the childer if the mood took me.
