I think they should have just let the late late show die on the vine rather than try to limp on. It probably peaked around the 90’s but as a concept in 2023 it is a bit of an anachronism. Maybe there is still a demand for it but a light easy Friday nights watching under Tubridy it wasnt.
They’re not going to let the advertising it draws in slip away that easily. Plus they’ll want the kudo’s of appointing someone who identifies as female into the chair.
