In fairness to him he tried but it was only going one way and he knew he couldnât give it any more than he already had done. Piosined chalice etc. Thereâll never be another Gaybo etc, different world etc. The show is lacking in character and all the gimmiks in the world cant wont change that.
That said Iâm a big fan of Patrick Kielty and wouldnât be surprised if he turns it around

Sharkey is an "artistâ. My brother in law bought one of his painting off him for 20 euro in an early house in The Liberties about 10 years ago. It hangs proudly in the hallway of my mother in laws house.
