He was very suspicious of lads with high skill levels.

Lovely footballer. Could play in the â10â as well before lads kept going on about the 10 (an era where there was more 4-4-2 or perhaps a bit of 4-3-3).

My assessment is that Jack did rate him but injuries caught up with Ronnie after 1988 that he couldnt cover the ground in the middle of the park so he went down the pecking order for a midfield role
