Tubs was very poor here. Paxman was well up for it but tubs didn’t ask the right questions. You could tell Paxman wanted to elaborate on Boris and Cameron but Ryan cut him off to stick to the.script. Gay Byrne was and is a prissy cunt but he was better at this stuff. Kenny too.

Gay was never a slave to the script, Gay would have a conversation with the guest,
Tubs only wants to ask questions and cannot sense when is the right time to dig deeper into an area.

Actually I think Paxman was a very bad interviewee here. This was Tubs comfort zone but Jeremy was deeply uncomfortable on the other side of the couch. Came across as a narky cunt to be honest - which he is but shouldn’t be when he’s trying to sell his wares
