1:05 the gap
Canât do it. Should have gone sooner.
1:15 the gap now. 10 second win bonus so Quintana needs another 1 minute and 14 seconds. Inside 2km though. Not going to happen.
Another horrible Brit cunt wins the Tour.
Balls of a sport.
110km was too short for that stage. Needed another big climb to really have a realistic chance that Froome could be caught.
Pinot went out to 5/1 to win that stage halfway up Alpe dâHuez.
Quintana ascended Alpe dâHuez in 39:22, the 23rd fastest ever, behind the following.

Froomey is such a nice, mannerly chap. Iâd say his mother in law was delighted when her daughter brought him home.
Greg Lemond talking bullshit.
The race was won in the first few days. Sky werenât that strong, the latinos should have attacked Froome a lot more.
What did my all-time favourite cyclist say to annoy you?
I havenât followed it that closely but am I correct in saying Quintana has been quickest around France? Froome essentially won the race in the wind and rain on the North Sea in Zeeland over in the Netherlands.
More or less. Froome gained time in the team TT as well.
Was just looking there. Froome was 11 seconds better than Quintana in the prologue, 4 seconds better in the team TT but 1:28 better on the first road stage in Holland the day the peloton broke up. Interestingly Froome only took a minute off him the first day in the Pyrenees the day he âobliteratedâ the field.
He is actually a very nice man. Iâm delighted.

You can wear your Sky jersey with pride today, Flatly. Believe in better.
