Thinking back on last night, the most surreal/ridiculous/inadvertently amusing part was Micheál Martin taking umbrage on behalf of British taxpayers that Gerry Adams drew Westminster expenses despite not attending parliament. Fianna Fáil showed scarce concern for Irish taxpayers when saddling them with billions of bank and bondholder debt but this gimp had the barefaced cheek to make uninvited representations on behalf of another nation’s taxpayers. What an utter clown. Gerry putting him firmly back in his box was tremendous television.

It’s actually really awful. That poor girl was condemned by the state to 13 years of abuse, not only unnecessarily, but through political machinations.
13 years.
