Higher level grades went up 4.4% overall so you would imagine most course points will go up by a similar percentage
I’m working, May have a few later
What else did she apply for? - If it doesnt happen , nail her other course for the year and look to transfer at the end of the year -. Beats repeating the leaving.
Or finish out her course and then do the PME.
I’m surprised more people dont do a shitty course for the year and look to transfer … college results are looked more upon than the leaving. Do a course on Irish folklore for the year and the nail the one essay you’ll get on Cu Chulainn and apply to UL for medicine then.
Not if everyone is going to be remote learning anyway.
When does the annual “ the leaving cert is not the be all and end all” media circus begin? Later today or tomorrow?
And of course the annual photo of some gom in Cork who got nine H1s.
The option to sit exams in November seems like an exercise in futility if the grades have been inflated by so much. With many colleges taking their lectures to an online platform now there will probably be some calls to increase class sizes to accommodate as many as possible.

Education is a life long pursuit
I would have thought that will have more of an impact on postgrad places. Not sure how significant the number of undergrads we get from overseas is, aside from people doing an Erasmus in year 3.
A few nice looking ladies on the news there getting their results.
My Godson got 487 points. He got 1 - H2, 4 - H3s and 1 - H4. Delighted for him, great kid. Didn’t start Irish until he was in 6th Class.
lads what’s a H1, H2 etc in old money?
I asked the brother the same question earlier. See below:
H1 = 90 - 100
H2 = 80 - 90
H3 = 70 - 80
H4 = 60 - 70
Not quite.
H1 88-100
H2 77-88
H3 66-77
H4 56-66
they’re the old honours from C up. Do you have passes then below that.
Thanks for the info
