Leaving cert worriers

Hug him, Christ of Almighty. Haven’t you doors for him to undercoat or something……
The ship hasn’t left the harbour yet, envisage yourself as St. Brendan here, choppy water ahead….

:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:my eldest is 40 trying to hold onto him as long as possible

Brendan was a nobber

Corkie, lads like that are like pet labradors, lying about and atin’ and drinking whatever you’ve got.
Your approach, while altruistic, will bite you eventually. These lads will need a modicum of hardship if they’re to navigate the pitfalls ahead. Once they get the requisite education it’s time for road.
At the end of the day you’re doing them no favours mollycoddling them. You’ll need 4 men to carry your coffin, even if they’re not your own the undertaker will find lads from the bookies who’ll perform for porter.

Na my take on it is I’ve a kindly sensitive kid and I’ll hang onto him , he came into my life at the right time to show me what life’s priorities should be, get coffin bearers I’ve 12 grand kids atm so I’ll be ok😊

Soft. He’s showing you your priorities now as well but you won’t listen

Thanks bandage

But sure that’s life to nurture, know my late mam did to all us 8 despite our obvious faults etc, think Irish parents in the main are soft towards their offspring no matter what, I was a nightmare tbh but my Kerry mam held on and always had a kiss hug or a kind word
